My song “Pretty Dance” came to me all-in-a-piece. Seldom do my songs come that way. The lyrics, the melody, the rhythm took root in my brain one morning on a trip to California. I wasn’t expecting such a gift, and I wrote it down immediately before it slipped back into the ether. I had met a friend, a professional dancer, the night before and let’s say that our meeting was eventful, and the song was an unexpected gift.
