The inspiration of my song, “She Can’t Have Him,” came from a newspaper article about a love triangle gone bad (Don’t most love triangles go bad?). If you’ve had an unrequited-love affair in your past, then you might appreciate this song about the one who got turned down, but decided not to turn away without a “fight.”

Getting turned down when you’re deeply invested in love hurts bad! Not everyone handles it well – too much blind, all-consuming, roiling emotion ready to explode!
