Hi,
Welcome to the Reynoldsongs blog.
The song “Alone Too Long” is a late-at-night, feeling-blue-and-sorry-for-yourself song about remembering someone you once loved, or someone you loved but they didn’t love you and it didn’t work out.
While writing of Alone Too Long, I pictured a dark club and a singer sitting on a stool on a bandstand in front of a microphone, illuminated by a bright spotlight, playing his guitar and singing from his heart. He knows a way out of his loneliness; the way out is through love, through finding a new love; he has to try again, that’s what his love-life is all about now.
My friend Doug Nolte added the lead guitar lines in support of the lyrics; thanks Doug.
